In 1994, Richard Maslow set out to create a premier local golf experience rooted in both excellence and community. To bring his vision to life, he partnered with world-renowned golf course architect Rees Jones, whose design established the course as both a challenging and beautifully integrated landscape. Complementing the course, the distinctive clubhouse, designed by acclaimed architect Peter Bohlin of Bohlin, Cywinski, Jackson, added a timeless architectural presence that has become central to the club’s identity.
Today, the club begins an exciting new chapter under the ownership of a group of local families: the Barbacci, Horn, Lambert, McCarthy, and Metz families. Each brings decades-long ties to the club, along with a shared commitment to preserving its heritage while thoughtfully evolving for the future.
This new ownership group is dedicated to building upon Dick Maslow’s legacy through continued investment in course conditions, enhancements to the clubhouse, including a new dining room and bar, and expanded social and dining experiences designed to bring members together. While modernizing the member experience, great care is being taken to honor the original architectural character and spirit of the club.
As we look ahead, our goal remains clear: to create a welcoming, vibrant, and enduring community where tradition and innovation come together.
